This sign was created for the bordering villages of Kennet and Kentford in Cambridgeshire. The images either side of the sign depict that which each village is famous for. Kennet being famous for a lance that was supposedly stuck in a tree and Kentford, famous for it’s horse stud and stables. The scrolls that decorate the top and bottom of the sign were hand forged from mild steel and attached to a box steel frame that houses the sign itself. The images either side were designed by myself and plasma cut from 3mm plate steel and attached to a central steel plate.
